Earth we will ever have. The primary mission of
The Mississippi Renaissance Garden Foundation is to create a memorial
botanic garden on the Mississippi Gulf Coast that will provide a place
for people to reconnect with the beauty of their environment. The garden
will commemorate the Renaissance of the Mississippi Gulf Coast and renew
the spirit of our people as well as recognize the compassion, generosity
and love of the many volunteers from all cultures who are making the Renaissance
possible. Equally important is our
mission to help to Bring Back the Beauty to the
Mississippi Gulf Coast. MRG has programs that will help this become a
reality. To do this, we are cooperating with other organizations such
as Harrison County's Beautification Commission to help to bring about
a wonderful transformation on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. It is our desire
to foundation's desire to foster civic pride and the restoration
of the beauty and cleanliness of the Gulf Coast with our"Bring Back
the Beauty" program. There are four segments to our Bring
Back the Beauty Program. They include: While waiting for funding and land
for our garden, we are endeavoring to work, through our many programs
and projects, on restoring civic pride, fostering cleanup and pride of
property, helping to preserve our Live oaks and plant replacements for
those lost to Katrina, and encourage community beautification. This is
being done by someof our board members working on many of the Renaissance
and Smart Code committies along the Coast. Coming soon: A page listing all
of our accomplishments thus far. Beauty Award Links: Bring
