Bring Back the Beauty "We Care" Slogans
We are encouraging everyone to adopt these slogans
and their implications:

"We Care"
about the Mississippi Gulf Coast. As a whole group, if we all care, we can bring back the beauty that we lost and even make it better. Consider caring enough to become involved in a cleaner Coast that provides quality of living for all.

"Pack Your Trash"
in litter bags and take it home to dispose of it properly.

"Take it to the Curb"
Curb appeal is important. Edge and remove weeds and pick up trash all the way to the curb and into the edge of the street. Make your entire environment clean and neat.

"Stuff your Butts"
into your ashtray, a drink can, empty prescription bottles, film canisters, or a portable ashtray instead of "Tossing your Butts" onto public streets and parking lots.
It takes up to 12 years for cigarette butts to disintegrate.

"Adopt a Slogan"
"Keep Biloxi Clean", "Keep Gulfport Clean", "Keep Long Beach Clean", "Keep Pass Christian Clean", Keep Ocean Springs Clean", "Keep Gautier Clean", "Keep Moss Point Clean", "Keep Pascagoula Clean", "Keep Bay St. Louis Clean", and "Keep Waveland Clean"
are slogans that need to adopted, repeated and posted all over the Gulf Coast.

"Civic Pride"
should be in the forefront of everyone's plan for rebuilding and Bringing Back the Beauty on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

"Pass It Forward"
by making the effort to clean up past your area. Have cleanup activities to clean up past your own property if you have vacant lots near you.

"Finish the Job"
Whatever you start, finish it. If you clean up a lot, clean the curb. If you demolish a building, pick up and remove all rubble and leave a clean slab or a smooth piece of clean earth. When you mow, edge the sidewalk and remove grass from the cracks.

"Make It Easy"
Make attractive trash cans available inside and outside your stores and places of business. Have cigarette receptacles available outside your doors, but not right by the door. Make it hard for people to litter your parking lots; make it easy to dispose of trash and litter. Put up "Please Do Not Litter" sings, and place trash cans around your parking lots.
